Pearl Harbor Rememberance Day

Pearl Harbor Observance
Yesterday's Pearl Harbor Day rememberance, commemorating the 66th anniversary of the Dec. 7, 1941 bomb attack of Pearl Harbor was attended by 50+ survivors. In the Pearl Harbor attack, our US Navy suffered the greatest defeat of it's history - 21 ships sunk or damaged, and American deaths totaling 2,390.
The National Park Service and US Navy jointly hosted a memorial ceremony commemorating the 66th anniversary of the historic attack at the Naval Station's Pearl Harbor Kilo Pier this morning. Admiral Robert F. Willard, the commander of US Pacific Fleet, served as the keynote speaker.
At 7:55 a.m., the exact moment of the attack - a moment of silence was observed.
