Hawaii Hula Appreciated by Girls of All Ages

Hula is considered to be the soul or spirit of Hawaii as expressed by a body in motion. No one knows the exact origin of hula but Hawaiians do agree that the first hula was performed by a god or goddess, making the dance itself a sacred ritual.

Every movement in the hula dance has a specific meaning, and all gestures from the dancer's hands have great significance. The movements of the dancer's body could represent a number of things including animals, plants, even war.
