Sandy Beach is an area where new hi-rise hotels are going in. It's currently surrounded by lots of wide open spaces, RV parks and it has the biggest "party" atmosphere in all of Rocky Point. The sand is large and coarse with a whitish yellow tint. it's beautiful against the turquoise blue water at sunset. The tide at Sandy Beach goes way out and it's a great place to see starfish, crabs and sea cucumbers. It's a fun place for kids to spend time.

Playa Hermosa Beach - This is a another great low tide beach...make sure you take the kids. When the tide pools are exposed you can search for sea plants, coral, shrimp and octupus. This makes for a great family outing.
