The Honolulu International Airport is the Hub to All Hawaii

Honolulu Airport Runway

If you're traveling to any of our islands, you will likely make a stop at the Honolulu International Airport. The Honolulu International Airport is the principal aviation hub for the City & County of Honolulu and the entire State of Hawaii. It's identified as one of the busiest airports in the United States, with traffic now exceeding 21 million passengers per year.

The airport is located three miles northwest of Honolulu's central business district via Nimitz Highway and/or the Queen Liliuokalani Freeway of Interstate H-1.

Honolulu International Airport serves as the principal hub for Hawaiian Airlines and Aloha Airlines, which are the two largest Hawaii-based airlines. Hawaiian & Northwest Airlines offer flights between the various airports of the Hawaiian Islands and they also serve the continental United States.

Aloha ~
