Back in the Aloha State - Physically and Mentally

Aloha everyone - it's good to be home!!!

Yep... I just got back from my "Sunshine State" vacation - paid the mouse a dear sum of money I did, but I have to say that it's great to be back in the Aloha State again! Florida is so beautiful, but I really missed my white sandy beaches, trade winds, and those all too predictable Oahu rain showers.

I did find a neat Florida blog while I was waiting out a weather delay at Orlando International Airport. The SunEGrl Loves to Shop Blog is written by a native Floridian named Dena who filled me in on lots of local happenings - even informed me that Friday is Cow Appreciation Day! I would have never known this without Dena's prompting and thus never been able to pay my tribute to the beloved cattle of the world.

Looking forward to blogging Hawaii again...
