My Grandma and Nu'uanu Pali

Grandma... are you reading this? Of course you are because you read me every day - haha!

My grandma lives in Kailua which is located in Windward Oahu. It's about 12 miles from Honolulu and it's over Nu'uanu Pali which is the tallest mountain peak in the Ko'olau mountain range - a lovely drive but not so good for grandma anymore. We're all worried about grandma because she is getting older and has diabetes so we hope to have her moving in with us soon.

Grandma crosses
Nu'uanu Pali once a week for a B-12 injection in Honolulu and we're trying to convince her to try a sublingual B12 instead - wondering if any of my readers have tried this. According to the box, sublingual means “under the tongue” so all she has to do is place the tablet under her tongue and it dissolves completely. This eliminates (Grandma, are you listening?) the problem that B12 oral pills have with poor absorption and it eliminates those painful and costly injections.

So grandma, we're not trying to bug you. We love you and we'd like to have you try sublingual B-12 from Trivita today so you don't need to make that drive anymore. We'd also like you to consider moving in with us here - we'll have a blast!

Aloha ~

Ali
