Like most of you, my family has been on lots and lots of family vacations - my dad insists on it, and we all fall in line when he starts his planning. Some memorable, most forgettable... we have traveled as a family to New Zealand, Portugal, Japan, and almost all of the state of Florida. Most of our vacations have seemed hurried and restless, but this year's family vacation was outrageously fun. It was a trip to the New Jersey shore on the east coast of North America. Yes, I said New Jersey!

We just returned from an amazing family beach vacation in Wildwod New Jersey, and we all now have a new and profound love for the Atlantic coast! We stayed at a beautiful oceanfront resort - took in the sun and beaches each morning and had a blast at Morey’s Piers each evening. Morey's Piers had daily specials (Magic Monday, Tues “Day” Time Special, Xtreme Ride Wednesday, Thirty Dollar Thursday and Friday Splashtacular), so needless to say we spent lots of time there riding rides and eating yummy food! We also got to see a free Raven-Symone concert that was hosted there by Radio Disney on the enormous Radio Disney stage (right next door to the giant ferris wheel - haha).

Morey's Piers is a great place for New Jersey vacations and their website lists all of the resorts in Wildwood NJ. They also have links to the best hotel and motel deals in case you want to check it out. So... if you can't make it to beaches of Oahu for vacation then consider the beaches of New Jersey. Who would have figured??
