Hawaii Warriors, Self Inking Stamps, Textbooks... It's School Time Again

Classes resume next week at Hawaii University and I can't wait. I'm super excited to see all of my friends again, I'm super duper excited to see my Hawaii Warriors take the field, and I'm triple-super-duper excited because I got in to ALL of my classes this semester - no denials and no wait-lists!!!

The difficult part about college for me is not
the waking up early or the course work. The difficult part for me is the juggling act that I have to do between my classes/homework and my online business activities. My online business pays ALL the bills and gives me lots of freedom. Dad likes me independent so it's important that going2oahu stays vibrant while I'm in class. This blog for instance, drives a ton of business to my website so I have to keep up on the daily writing!

I did just add a direct mail campaign to my marketing activities and I'm hoping this mailing will give me a boost during the first few weeks of classes. I've taken a few shortcuts - even picked up 2 custom self inking stamps -one with my signature and another with my business address and website. Vista Print has a sale on self-inking, custom rubber stamps and you can get a sweet discount by entering the "
Stamps50" coupon code at checkout. The coupon is still working as far as I know and it gets you 50% off on the small rubber stamps. They have tons of other sales and saving opportunities going on right now too - savings on business cards, labels, invitations, checks, magnets, t-shirts, etc. They even have a free section!

I'm not sure whether I have mentioned that I am an education major and this is my student teaching year. That will be a giant challenge with the business but I think I can make it all work - hope so anyway.

See you in class!

Aloha ~

Ali

My Warriors are not doing so well :-( Lots of missed opportunities yesterday added up to a pretty deflating loss for Hawaii U, and our post-season bowl hopes are vanishing kinda' quickly. I agonized with my friends as we went scoreless on four of our five trips to the red zone (including three that were inside the Utah State 9) and I shed a tear when Utah State defeated us 30-14.The Warriors stay on the road this week and face New Mexico State on Saturday in Las Cruces. They now have to go 3-1 down the stretch to remain bowl ...
