The Best Hawaiian Luaus on Oahu

A Luau is a Hawaiian feast - much like a dinner party. In Hawaii the term Luau and party are almost synonymous with Luau being the means by which weddings and birthdays are celebrated. Music, Hula and beer among other Hawaiian traditions are often undertaken at a Luau making it a favorite among tourists looking to sample a piece of Hawaiian culture on their visit.

Germaine's Luau in Kapolei

While most visitors go to Waikiki on vacation, most of the best Luaus occur far away from Waikiki. Germaine's Luau in Kapolei for example, is one of my personal favorites. The entertainment and food are terrific and the price is well worth it. Traveling there is usually very easy because most of the tourist resorts will arrange your transportion.

Paradise Cove Luau in the Ko Olina Resort

Paradise Cove Luau which is in the Ko Olina Resort is another one of the best places to experience your first Luau. Many natives attend too, so it is a great way to get a glimpse into their culture and why the enjoy Luaus so much.

Aloha ~
